Absolute monitoring of the system

• EMA allows the energy count in the 4 quadrants : monitoring the consumed energy, the energy produced and the balance between the energy produced and consumed; for example in cogeneration or photovoltaic plants.
• EMA accounts for energy consumption according to time slots that can be set by the user, to have a timely confirmation with the bill at the end of the month
• EMA reads and displays the energy counts from other energy meters connected in the network, thanks to the digital inputsthat allow to acquire the pulses generated by the meters present in the system; in this case EMA assumes the role of data concentrator, collecting information not only from energy meters but also water and gas, with the possibility of transferring all the data to the remote supervision system.
• Moreover, thanks to the measurement of the harmonic distortion rate of the measured voltage and current signals up to the 31st harmonic, EMA allows a complete and in-depth analysis of the quality of the network. The display of the waveform for voltage and current allows in real time to observe the signal variations from the ideal case, without disturbances, to the real case with signal disturbances highlighted.
• EMA manages the analysis over time of voltage variations, power failure, microperturbations and power failures.
• Thanks to the function of managing loads and detachment in case of exceeding the preset threshold of power absorbed by the network, it is possible to optimize energy consumption with consequent benefits of an economic nature
• EMA allows the monitoring of quantities also in analogical mode thanks to the analogue outputs that can be completely set by the user.

In addition, the EMA version expandable with accessory cards, provides superior performance with the possibility of using other protocols in addition to the standard Modbus standard on all models, such as Ethernet and Profibus ; fully programmable analog and digital outputs for complete system monitoring.
